Back in Action

I chanced upon my blog today  -Yeah, you read it right, I just happened to visit my bookmarked pages today and rediscovered my long forgotten blog. So coming back, I chanced upon my blog today and was saddened by the fact that it’s been so long since it went untouched, so long since I actually wrote something. But what caught my attention most was the fact that over a period of time, almost all the posts that I have published had struck a melancholic chord somewhere. This fact disturbed me. I realized I might have written those when the going had gotten tough for me, but that doesn’t mean that now when things are much smoother than what they were, “Touch Wood”, the blog should lose its value for me.

So here I am, with absolutely no clue about what to write. But with a determination in my mind that no matter what, I shall touch base with my blog on a regular basis from now on and with a promise that I shall revive my lost spirit for writing.

And now I have put on my thinking cap and am trying hard to arrive at a topic I can write on. Till then, please bear with me. Something definitely is on its way. J

Deep Cleaning Our Homes!!!

Who doesn’t like a clean house. A house that is dust free and is immaculate always! Now wouldn’t that be a dream come true? Unfortunately, things don’t work that way. We need to tire and toil to ensure our house is neat and clean. I had shared a few tips in one of my previous blogs. Those were more like daily tips to keep the house clean. This blog is dedicated to deep cleaning the house. Here I will talk about tackling the stain in between the tiles, the food stuck in small parts of the stove and the huge French windows. It was yesterday that I realised just how many backstabbing fools exist on this earth. But then on greater introspection and deep thinking I realised that maybe we are greater fools for allowing them to backstab us. Some of us have been very lucky to have really great friends who will stand by us come whatever may but there are persons who donot have a single friend to call their own. The social networking sites profiles show a huge friend list of 400 - 500 people. The other day i was browsing Orkut when I saw a profile having 996 friends and she had to create another profile in order to add more friends. The Question here is that how many of these friends are truly her friends. I am both lucky and unlucky.
